Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly reevaluating their approach to the future in light of the significant booing they experienced at the Super Bowl. The singer of "Cruel Summer" encountered unexpected disapproval from NFL fans as Kelce's team, the Kansas City Chiefs, faced defeat against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“It has certainly been a tumultuous time for Taylor! Just when she was enjoying the success of her remarkable Eras Tour, she suddenly faced considerable public criticism,” a source close to the artist informed Radar Online.

“She genuinely perceives herself as a good person, always striving to do what is right, so this entire situation must be quite distressing for her. There are whispers suggesting she has been advised to maintain a low profile for the time being. Can you imagine?”

“It feels as though she has been unfairly labeled as the antagonist, which must be painful! The dynamics of her relationship with Travis have certainly shifted, marking the first significant challenge in their otherwise enjoyable romance,” the source continued.

Swift, known for her resilience, is nonetheless feeling unsettled by the public's recent negativity. “They have been engaging in some rather uncomfortable discussions with their teams regarding when to make public appearances and what the atmosphere should be like. This certainly takes the romance out of the relationship.”

“Let’s be honest, Taylor is not one to easily retreat. However, the wave of public disdain has left her somewhat rattled. Friends and family are increasingly concerned about the couple, hoping they can successfully navigate this challenging period in their love story,” the source added.

In the meantime, the Chiefs' tight end was reportedly “dealing with a significant illness” prior to the game. He recorded only four receptions for 39 yards on six targets against the Eagles.

“We will not make excuses or dwell on it, but he was indeed contending with a considerable illness leading up to the Super Bowl,” Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach stated during the NFL: The Insiders podcast.
