Taylor Swift Responds to Justin Baldoni's Claims: 'Confused' Over Allegations Amid Legal Drama

2 months ago | 5 Views

Taylor Swift was seen out with her family while rumors swirled that she was confused by Justin Baldoni's claims that Blake Lively asked her to “pressure” him in a shocking new lawsuit.

Last month, the California Civil Rights Department got a complaint from Lively, 37, accusing Baldoni, 40, of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment during the filming of It Ends With Us.

Baldoni, who starred in and directed the movie, has since filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, where he shared some unexpected responses.

He alleged that Lively brought in her famous friend Swift, 35, after he hesitated about some of the edits she wanted for the film's script.

Baldoni claimed that the singer, whose name wasn’t directly mentioned in the lawsuit but appeared in text screenshots, pressured him to adhere to “Blake's direction for the script” after she showed up at their meeting and began to excessively compliment her writing.

Taylor Swift was spotted out and about with her parents following the allegations against Baldoni

Taylor Swift, 35, was spotted enjoying dinner in New York with her parents, Scott and Andrea, just a day after the latest lawsuit hit the news. She looked fabulous in a sleek black jacket for the occasion.

With a bright smile, Swift paired her chic handbag with a stylish black miniskirt that sparkled under the city lights. Her designer look was completed with some eye-catching Chanel drop earrings.

She enhanced her appearance with makeup, rocking a bold red lipstick, and wore her signature dirty blonde hair down with a cute fringe.

That night, she chose to dine at one of the Nobu restaurants, famous for its cuisine created by Japanese chefs Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert DeNiro.

Is Taylor feeling ‘confused’ about Baldoni's claims?

Swift is feeling a bit “confused” about being included in Baldoni's lawsuit, as her relationship with Blake is just a “friendship,” according to a source cited by the Daily Mail.

Insiders speaking for Swift mentioned that she’s “proud of the film” since her music was part of it, which made her feel involved, even though she didn’t know all the details about the project’s progress.

“She’s puzzled by the allegations in the lawsuit because her bond with Blake is strictly friendly, and she has no desire to influence or control his projects.”
