Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have patched things up after Blake apologized to Taylor for involving her in the It Ends With Us legal situation. The 37-year-old actress contacted the Cruel Summer star following Justin Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit, where he alleged that Blake attempted to use Taylor's influence as a bargaining chip against him, as reported by Page Six.

Blake really wanted to mend things with Taylor. She never meant to hurt Taylor or damage their friendship, a source shared with the outlet, noting that the Gossip Girl actress “misses their bond and hopes they can move past this situation.”

The insider also mentioned that Swift “valued” Lively's “sincere and heartfelt” apology. “[Taylor] holds no grudges and is ready to move on,” the source added, according to the outlet. In Baldoni's lawsuit, he claimed that the All I See is You star had once invited the 41-year-old director to her and Ryan Reynolds' NYC penthouse, where her “very close friend” was also present.

Baldoni alleged that during the meeting, Swift and the Deadpool star praised Lively's script changes for It Ends With Us. However, the Jane the Virgin star later texted the Age of Adaline actress about the edits, saying, “I really love what you did. It really does help a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan or Taylor).”

Lively reportedly responded to Baldoni's message by calling Swift and Reynolds the “dragons” who protected her, similar to Khaleesi in “Game of Thrones,” as stated in the lawsuit. A February report from Page Six indicated that the Midnights singer felt “used” by the Green Lantern actress and “doesn’t like being referred to as one of Blake’s dragons.”
