A source has exclusively informed Page Six that Taylor Swift feels "used" by her longtime friend Blake Lively. The pop icon is said to be distressed over her mention in texts attributed to Lively, which emerged during a countersuit initiated by Justin Baldoni, Lively's co-star and director in the film It Ends With Us.

Taylor Swift ‘unhappy’ over lawsuit mention

In the legal documents, Lively's purported messages to Baldoni state, "If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons." Although she did not directly name anyone, it is widely believed that she was alluding to her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and Swift.

Baldoni, 41, appeared to validate this interpretation by stating, "I really love what you did. It really does [help] a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan and Taylor)."

An insider for Page Six reported, "Taylor doesn’t appreciate being referred to as one of Blake’s dragons." The source further noted, "Taylor really wishes Blake hadn’t dragged her into this whole situation."

Taylor Swift ‘wants to keep out of this drama’

The ongoing conflict surrounding It Ends With Us between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively has intensified, with Baldoni establishing a website to publicly present his counterclaims and supporting evidence, which includes text messages and emails. In light of this situation, Taylor Swift seeks to distance herself from the unfolding drama. Although Swift and Lively have maintained a close friendship for several years, a source indicates that the singer now feels "used." Swift aims to minimize her involvement in this controversy and is reportedly exasperated by the unwanted connection.

Swift and Lively's friendship began in 2015, following Lively's playful nod to Swift's Bad Blood music video in a L’Oréal advertisement. Nevertheless, fans have observed that Swift has remained conspicuously silent regarding Lively’s recent film, It Ends With Us.

Baldoni's countersuit against Lively and Reynolds, which was filed last month, claims defamation during the production of It Ends With Us.
