Actor Aadar Jain generated considerable attention when he described his previous relationships as mere "time pass" during the pre-wedding celebrations. While his former partner Tara Sutaria has chosen not to comment on the statement, her mother has seemingly issued a subtle critique of Aadar.

What did Aadar say?

In a video from Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani’s mehendi ceremony, Aadar expressed his affection for Alekha, stating, “I have always loved her since then, and I have always wanted to be with her but never got a chance to be with her. So she sent me on this long journey of 20 years through time pass. But at the end of the day, it was worth the wait because I get to marry this beautiful, beautiful woman, who looks like a dream.”

He continued, “I love you, and it was worth the wait. It's a secret, I have always loved her. I have done time pass for four years of my life. But now I'm with you, baby.” The actor faced backlash on social media for his comments.

Did Tara’s mother respond to the ‘time pass’ remark?

Recently, Tara’s mother, Tina Sutaria, took to her Instagram stories to share a message that appeared to indirectly address Aadar's comments.

The message stated, “If your boyfriend/husband ever says anything disrespectful to you, tell him to write it down on a piece of paper, get in his car, drive and deliver it to his mother, or simply hand it to his daughter. If he can’t say it to his mother or doesn’t want another man to one day say it to his daughter, he shouldn’t be saying it to you (sic).”

Tara's mother did not explicitly tag anyone in her post; however, the timing has led to speculation regarding whom it may have been directed towards.

Regarding Aadar Jain and Alekha Advani, the couple recently celebrated their marriage with a second ceremony following an intimate Christian wedding in Goa. This event was graced by numerous celebrities, including Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Neetu Kapoor. Their Roka ceremony took place in November of the previous year.

Aadar announced his engagement to Alekha Advani in September of last year, proposing to her by the sea. Their relationship became public in November 2023 when Aadar posted a photo of them together on social media, referring to her as the "light of my life." Prior to this, Aadar was in a relationship with actress Tara Sutaria, which he made official on Instagram in August 2020. Aadar is the youngest son of Rima Jain, Kareena's aunt, who is the daughter of the late Raj Kapoor.
