Satyadeep Misra is currently in the happiest phase of his life. The actor will be soon welcoming his first child with fashion designer and wife Masaba Gupta. And on the professional front, he has the second season of Tanaav lined up for its OTT release. During Tanaav 2's promotions, OTTplay exclusively interviewed Satyadeep, who spoke about his impending parenthood and his new series.

Satyadeep Misra on embracing parenthood

In conversation with us, Satyadeep Misra opened up about his current sentiment regarding embracing parenthood with his wife Masaba. "It's the first time for both of us (laughs). I am anxious and excited in equal measure," he said.

The actor further opened up about his upcoming web show, Tanaav 2, which is scheduled to premiere on September 6 on SonyLIV. When asked to talk about a scene that was mentally and physically challenging for him, Satyadeep mentioned, "The climax is a bit hectic; it's a long drawn-out climax. A bit of the climax has been shot in Mumbai. They've recreated Kashmir for the climax."

Although the climax wasn't emotionally draining for Satyadeep, it was physically taxing for him. Revealing the reason, Misra added, "Because, by the time we shot (the climax), it was March in Mumbai. Suddenly from cold Kashmir where we shooting at 8 degrees, we were shooting at 38 degrees here in Madh Island."

Other than that, there was no hurdle for Satyadeep. The actor stated it only takes a day to get into the shoes of a character, which an actor has played for two seasons. "Once you're in it, you get used to it. The cast is the same and that sort of stress doesn't happen," quipped Satyadeep.
