Manav Vij is currently enjoying the success of his recently released show 'Tanaav Season 2'. The actor has been receiving praise for his character, Kabir. Besides the show, the actor is very well known for his work in Hindi and Punjabi cinemas. But did you know that the actor was out of work for 5 years? In a recent interview, the actor opened up about his struggles and how his wife, Meher Vij, supported him during his financial problems.  

Manav Vij reveals his wife Meher Vij ran the house when he was out of work

In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Manav Vij revealed that he was out of work for 5 years, and Meher, his wife-actress was the one who was running the house. He revealed that he was trying his best but she was the one who used to run the house. 

He added, "Aur ye unka decision tha, ab ye sach hai mere 90% decisions voh leti hai. What she told me was, 'This is the thing, and you want to do this, so you will do it'. So I told her, 'I have 4 other things to do, and if I don't do that, what will we do? She said, 'I will do it'. So she ran the house and said, joh aapko lagta hai ab aap wahi karoge, and then Udta Punjab happened to me."

The actor, who was also seen playing a pivotal role in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan believes that no matter how many wrong places you land, if you go for the right thing, you will always end up being at the right place. He credits Meher in shaping his career. In this conversation, filmmaker Sudhir Mishra stated, "A lot of us have survived because of the women in our life."
