Tamannaah Bhatia is embracing a daring and distinctive role in "Odela 2," a supernatural thriller helmed by Ashok Teja. Discussing the challenges she encountered while preparing for her character, Tamannaah noted that her role required a form of preparation that transcended both physical and mental aspects. “At times, portraying a character necessitates a preparation that cannot be purely physical or mental, nor can it be based on any existing references,” she explained. “This posed a significant challenge for a film like this, as there are no cinematic precedents for Shivshakti women. In such instances, one must rely on the unknown, trusting what is unfamiliar and what is not fully comprehended.” 

She further described her experience as a profoundly internal journey that extended beyond her rational understanding. “During filming, there were moments when I questioned whether this could truly be me, as it surpassed my logical comprehension of how we managed to execute certain scenes,” she reflected. This level of openness in her approach highlights the emotional richness and intricacy of her character in "Odela 2," which necessitates her reliance on something greater than herself, mirroring her character's own journey.

At the trailer launch, Tamannaah also elaborated on the film's broader philosophical themes. “If you observe my character, she appears without makeup; we aimed to create a persona that feels relatable, like you and me, because ultimately, it represents us. We possess divinity within ourselves and are perpetually seeking it in various places,” she stated. Tamannaah aspires for the film to encourage audiences to explore their own inner divinity, particularly as they exit the theater. “The goal is for viewers to seek the divinity within themselves after watching the film. I genuinely hope this movie resonates with everyone, as ultimately, good triumphs over evil,” she concluded.

Odela 2 is a supernatural thriller set in the fictional village of Odela, where a malevolent force disrupts the tranquility of its inhabitants. The narrative centers around Odela Mallanna Swamy, who is entrusted with the duty of safeguarding his village from these sinister entities. The character portrayed by Tamannaah represents divine strength, symbolizing hope amidst adversity.

Directed by Ashok Teja and penned by Sampath Nandi, the film features notable performances from Hebah Patel, Vasishta N. Simha, and others in significant roles. The production, spearheaded by D. Madhu under the banners of Madhu Creations and Sampath Nandi Teamworks, boasts impressive cinematography by Soundararajan and an eerie musical score by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.
