In the supernatural thriller Odela 2, Tamannaah Bhatia takes on the role of a sadhvi. During a press event with the film's cast and crew, she addressed a question about her casting, especially since she's often recognized for her 'milky beauty.' Tamannaah expressed that a woman's divinity can manifest in various forms, and it's something that should be celebrated.

Celebrating a woman's glamour is a must!

Tamannaah responded to the question about her casting by saying, “You call me milky beauty, but why would you think that someone who looks like that can't embody a shiva shakti? Your question already hints at the answer. Ashok Teja doesn’t see milky beauty as something to be ashamed of. We should celebrate glamour in women, and we need to celebrate ourselves first if we want others to do the same. If we view ourselves negatively, it’s hard for anyone else to respect us.”

She continued, “We have a wonderful gentleman in Ashok Teja who sees women differently. He views them as divine. And divinity can be glamorous, fierce, and powerful. A woman can be so many things.”

Odela Railway Station was a gripping crime thriller, but its sequel, Odela 2, takes a different turn into the supernatural realm. In this film, Tamannaah plays the character Shiva Shakthi, who arrives in the village of Odela, a place under the protection of the deity Odela Mallanna Swamy, to confront an evil force that claims dominion over the five elements. During the teaser launch last month, the team revealed that Tamannaah prepared for her role by studying the body language of sadhus. The cast of Odela 2 also includes Vasishta N Simha, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamshi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy.
