Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah completed 16 years at the beginning of the week, and the grand celebrations took place on the sets with producer Asit Kumarr Modi also present. Once the celebrations ended, the show went on, from where it had paused - with Tapu surprising his Tapu Sena with football.

Bhide challenges Goli to football match

As Tapu Sena begins playing football, Goli who is convinced he is the best goalkeeper challenges Sonu. Amped up, she ends up hitting the ball so far that it landed in the balcony of her home, which is the Bhide house.

The beginning of TMKOC is relived as Bhide being himself scolds Tapu for 'being naughty,' only to then realize that it was Sonu who threw the ball. Being himself (again), Bhide asked Sonu to come back home and never play with Tapu Sena again.

Just as Tapu Sena pleads for Bhide to return the ball, the Gokuldham society members gather. Popatlal voices Tapu Sena as he keeps poking Bhide. In this confrontation, Bhide reveals he was once a pro in football. Seeing the opportunity, Tapu Sena asks Bhide to join them. As he refuses the offer, Popatlal irks him further by stating that Bhide is scared. It was at this time when Goli revealed he is the best goalkeeper, thus challenging Bhide to a match. Bhide accepted the match but made a deal along with it. It was that if Bhide wins, then Tapu Sena will no longer play in the Gokuldham Society compound. On hearing the decision, the society members are left concerned but join Tapu Sena or Team Bhide anyway.

As the match for penalty shot commences, Bhide and Goli go neck-to-neck, till the former gets a lead. At the end moment, irony strikes, for Bhide, who is standing in front of goalkeeper Goli, ends up throwing the ball so high it hits his house window. He wanted to stop Tapu Sena for the very reason, so that he doesn't have to spend money on repairs if Tapu Sena breaks his house window.

Bhide frustrated with Jethalal

The next day, while Iyer and Babita thank Jethalal for informing them about the lucky draw which led them to winning a car which they can now roam around in, Bhide is left furious with the businessman. Bhide is angry on Jethalal for not yet paying the maintenance cheque and keeps on lingering around Jethalal for the same reason. However, Bhide cannot get a hang of Jethalal who has hopped skipped and jumped from Gokuldham society into his electronics shop. He eventually gets an apology from Jethalal but is not convinced.

Jethalal leaves for Hyderabad trip

Jethalal takes his time to inform the people around him of his upcoming Hyderabad trip. He has a seminar in the city which Jethalal does not wish to miss out on. There was a hilarious episode when he informed Bagha and Natu Kaka. That involving warning Bagha that his girlfriend Bawri should not visit the shop in Jethalal's absence. When Jethalal informs Bapuji and Tapu, is when Bhide comes to ask for Jethalal's apology. He half-heartedly accepts the same, after learning about Jethiya's current condition, which is why he has been in such a rush.

Now that it is Jethalal, nothing can unfold without moments that leave people with laughs. Forgetting that he is a lazy person by nature, Jethalal books a mid-night flight to travel at a lower cost than usual. Thus comes his biggest challenge - to stay awake or wake up on time. While he decides to do the former, Jethalal eventually opted for the latter. He slept relaxed knowing that Iyer and Babita are offering him a ride, so relaxed that he did not wake up on time. Furthermore, Iyer's car tire got punctured on the way. Will Jethalal make it to the airport on time and reach Hyderabad for the seminar?
