Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Popatlal is getting ready for his wedding, but it looks like it is stalled once again. The ladkiwale did not show up at his house, but a lot of memories were made on the day. Here’s everything that happened in episode 4125 of the show…

Gokuldham society members tease Popatlal for his glow-up

Dr. Hathi, with Komal, questions Popatlal’s glow. This is because he is dressed up. Shy about it, Popatlal asks Hathi if he knows the reason for the glow. It is his special face creams. Sodhis, Bhide-Madhavi tease him, while Iyer, standing with Babita, asks Popatlal to use the cream everyday. Popatlal laughs that he cannot use such an expensive cream and go for sting operations or his desk job every day. Anjali-Taarak Mehta agree. Popatlal is waiting for his potential wife, Madhubala. Bhide calls it waste of money, leaving Popatlal confused. Bhide wanted to talk about haldi and Chandan used in the past, only to state that creams are for ladies only. Popatlal asks for Madhavi to explain Bhide about the modern times.

The first meeting of Gokuldham society couples

All the society members root for Popatlal, and state that half his work is done with the cream. This leaves him elated, but Bhide ends up being a party pooper again. Madhavi then embarrasses him by talking about their first meeting. She reveals Bhide had a lot of hair in his youth, to which Popatlal comments, “Tumne jawaani mein baalon mein itna gel lagaaya ki baal ab upset ho gaye.” Anjali recalls her first meeting with Taarak also, and how he ate the chocolates he got for her. Sodhi got band baaja to propose to his Mrs. Komal then talks about meeting Hansraj Hathi in the hospital, when he treated her. Just as Iyer was about to talk about his love story with Babita, Jethalal steps in to inquire about what is happening. He asks Bhide to ask the ladkiwale why are they late.

Popatlal calls Chalu Pandey

Popatlal calls Chalu Pandey to confirm the date and time of ladkiwale. However, Pandey doesn’t pick his call, leaving them all stressed. Jethalal finds a moment and blames Iyer for what happened.
