Actress Taapsee Pannu’s intimate wedding video with Mathias Boe has been the talk of the town ever since it went viral on social media. In a new interview after getting married, Taapsee gave insights about her personal life and how she wishes to enjoy life beyond her work, along with having relevant filmography.

How Taapsee Pannu strikes the right balance between her personal and professional lives

Taapsee debuted as a leading lady with the film Chashme Baddoor a decade ago. In a recent interview after her intimate wedding with professional badminton player Mathias Boe, the actress shared how she balances her professional and personal lives. The Pink actress also revealed that she has understood the essence of time and has grown as a person by valuing life and happiness over hustling to reach the top. She brings her inner peace and a sense of contentment by competing with herself rather than focusing on people around her who have more or less than her.

When asked about her idea of peace and happiness, Taapsee said that she ensures that her days off are filled with fun and have nothing to do with chasing a deadline. The Haseen Dillruba actress revealed that she keeps her non-celebrity personality alive by hanging out with her inner circle of friends who are from outside the film industry.

“My idea of peace and happiness is where I get to work hard for 12 hours, but on my day off, I can totally switch off without having to chase a deadline. I have a family and a home to return to, and I have friends beyond the film industry who I hang out with to intentionally keep that non-celebrity side of me alive,” she revealed to the same media outlet.

She also added that each project is special to her, as she wishes to cherish her filmography in the future without any regret that she invested her time in something that wasn’t worth her time.

“I want to be sure that if I am taking up a certain project that it is worth my time because I want to enjoy life beyond work. The second factor is relevance. I would love to cherish my filmography years from now. So, I don’t want to invest time in something that will not stand the test of time,” Taapsee told Elle.
