Taapsee Pannu is currently busy promoting her two upcoming films - Hasseen Dillruba, also starring Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal, and Jimmy Sheirgill, and Khel Khel Mein, also featuring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, among others. On the personal front, the actress got married to her long-time boyfriend Danish badminton player Mathias Boe earlier this year on June 23. In a recent interview, the actress opened up about why she wanted to keep her wedding intimate and low-key. 

Taapsee Pannu on keeping her wedding low-key

In an interview with Fever FM, Taapsee talked described her relationship with Mathias Boe and said, "I’m my own person. He is his own person. I can be haseen for 1.4 billion people, I should be, and he can be a kicka** athlete for the whole world and he should be. Main uski nahin hui hun vo mera bhi nai hua hai (I’m not hers, and he is not mine). We have just decided to have a great party and celebrate our relationship."

Further, talking about keeping her wedding a private affair, she revealed that, for her, marriage is a 'very private personal moment' and her wedding had only 100-125 people including both families. "It just so happened because I chose to involve only those people who knew us directly from the people who organized it and all voh mere friends and family wale log hi the," she said.

Taapsee Pannu's Projects

On the professional front, Taapsee Pannu will next feature in the much-awaited sequel of Haseen Dillruba - 'Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba'. The film also stars Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal, and Jimmy Sheirgill. Directed by Jayprad Desai, the film is written by Kanika Dhillon. The movie will stream on Netflix from Aug 9, 2024.

The actress will also be seen in Khel Khel Mein, which is all set to release in theatres on August 15. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Fardeen Khan, and others in the lead roles.
