TMKOC actor Gurucharan Singh says he has Rs 1.2 crore debt - 'I have only seen failure...'

Gurucharan Singh, who was a part of Taarak Mehta Ooltah Chashmah, is going through a tough time in life. The actor recently arrived in Mumbai with the hope of finding new work. He even met TMKOC producer Asit Kumarr Modi. It's been a month since Singh has been in the city but he hasn't found work for himself. In his new interview, Gurucharan said he has a debt of Rs 1.2 crore while sharing his ordeal.
Gurucharan Singh: My debt amounts to Rs 1.2 crore
During his conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Gurucharan Singh said he wants to earn money so that he could manage his expenses, take care of his mother, and pay off his debts. The actor wishes to do good work and start his second innings. Singh needs money as he has EMI and credit card payments to be made.
And while some people have financially helped him, Gurucharan's debt is only accumulating. "I have significant debt. I owe Rs 60 lakh to banks and credit card companies. Additionally, some kind people I know have lent me money, and I owe them an equal amount. In total, my debt amounts to nearly Rs 1.2 crore," said Singh.
Gurucharan reveals he is on a liquid diet
The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor further said he has left food for past 34 days. He spoke about being on a liquid diet. "I have been on a liquid diet like I have milk, chai, and coconut water. I have seen only failure for the last four years. I have tried to do different things, businesses and all but everything is failing," added Gurucharan. The actor stated he is tired but feels he needs to get some earnings.
When Guruchran made headlines for his disappearance
Earlier this year, Gurucharan hit the headlines for his disappearance. The actor went missing from Delhi in April. Approximately a month later, he returned home. Back then, Singh said he had taken a spiritual retreat. On the work front, his last project was TMKOC, where he played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi.
