On March 28, Athiya shared a sneak peek of a meaningful welcome ceremony on her Instagram account. She posted a photo showcasing two beautifully decorated thalis. One thali was embellished with an abundance of flower petals, while the other displayed a composition of pink roses, sindoor, and rice—items commonly associated with Hindu rituals. The actor inscribed "aum" at the top of the image.

Athiya's mother, Mana Shetty, also shared the actor's Instagram story on her own profile, accompanied by an evil-eye emoji and a red heart emoji.

On March 24, the couple took to Instagram to announce their joyous news through a joint post. They shared an artwork depicting two swans accompanied by the message, “Blessed with a baby girl.” The baby was born on Monday, as indicated by the date “24-03-2025” in the image. Athiya, the daughter of actor Suniel Shetty, and KL Rahul shared this moment without additional text, opting instead for an emoji of a baby with a halo and wings. This marks their first child together.

In November of the previous year, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul used Instagram to inform their fans and supporters about their pregnancy. They released a joint statement that expressed, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025.”

KL Rahul first met Athiya in January 2019 through a mutual friend, and they quickly formed a connection. Their relationship has flourished over the years, culminating in their marriage in 2023. The ceremony took place at Suniel’s farmhouse in Khandala, attended by close family and friends.
