Sushmita Sen is a proud mother! The actress recently celebrated her daughter, Renee Sen’s, first live theatre performance with an Instagram post. Sushmita gave a sneak peek into the family getting together to witness Renee’s first live performance. She even expressed her overwhelming pride in Renee’s acting talents.

Sushmita shared a video of her family getting together and heading to the Royal Opera House in Mumbai to watch Renee’s live theatre performance. The video starts with a close-up shot of Renee, followed by the whole family waving at the camera from inside the theatre. Sushmita then takes individual shots of her mother, father, her brother Rajeev and rumoured boyfriend Rohman Shawl. The video includes clips of Sushmita posing with the star cast of Hidden Agendas, which includes Tannaz Irani and Anu Menon. After the performance, Sushmita obliged with fans by posing with other audience members.

Sushmita captioned the post, “To witness @reneesen47 perform Live in her first ever Play, that too surrounded by stalwarts of Theatre…My heart is full!!! A very proud moment indeed for the entire family, friends & well wishers!! As for me..I was simply overwhelmed!! My baby girl performed so confidently in front of a LIVE & appreciative audience!!!”

Speaking about the play Hidden Agendas, Sushmita wrote that the writing, performances, direction and production contributed to making it an immersive experience. She also added, “A BIG shout out to the entire Team of #hiddenagendas You guys are inspiring & incredibly Talented!!!"

Expressing her gratitude towards Ila Arun for flying down to Mumbai to watch Renee perform on stage, Sushmita wrote, “Thank you @llaarun for flying in just to watch our Renee!! Your presence is all the encouragement she needs!!! I love you!!!”
