Actor Sushmita Sen recently met Nitanshi Goel, known for her role in Laapataa Ladies, and expressed her admiration for her. On Saturday, Nitanshi's mother, Rashi Goel, posted a short video of their interaction on Instagram.

Nitanshi was honored with the Best Debut Female award for her role in Laapataa Ladies at the Pinkvilla Screen & Style Icons Edition 4. While hugging her, Sushmita remarked, "Congratulations, what a talented actor."

About Nitanshi, Laapataa Ladies
Nitanshi received acclaim for her performance in Laapataa Ladies, a film directed by Kiran Rao. Released in theaters in March 2024, the movie narrates the tale of two brides, Phool (played by Nitanshi) and Jaya (portrayed by Pratibha Ranta), who are inadvertently swapped during a train journey. The cast also includes Sparsh Shrivastava, Ravi Kishan, Chhaya Kadam, and Geeta Aggarwal Sharma.
Laapataa Ladies was produced by Kiran's Kindling Pictures, Aamir Khan Productions, and Jio Studios. The film is inspired by an award-winning narrative by Biplab Goswami. The screenplay and dialogues were crafted by Sneha Desai, with additional contributions from Divyanidhi Sharma.
