Suriya, who has always followed Malayalam cinema very closely, wished all the success to his good friend and leading man Prithviraj, Blessy, and AR Rahman, ahead of the grand release of their ambitious project.

In one of his recent Tamil promotional interviews for Aadujeevitham, Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is also an accomplished director, expressed his desire to direct Suriya in a film. When he was asked which actor from the Tamil film industry would he like to cast in one of his directorials, the actor-director immediately said it was the Soorarai Pottru actor. Interestingly, Prithviraj further revealed that he would like to direct Suriya in a mature, intense love story, someday.
According to the multi-faceted talent, pulling off a love story effectively is not an easy task, and only a fantastic actor can do it.
