Actors Suriya and Jyotika are making a trip to the shakti peethas in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, ahead of an exciting new chapter in their careers. Jyotika shared some photos from their visit on Instagram, expressing her gratitude to fans for their ‘love and blessings’. Check it out.

Jyotika shared a bunch of photos from her trip to the temples in Kolhapur on her Instagram. One snapshot captures her and her friends beaming as they take a selfie, while another features them lighting diyas together. She also included solo shots of herself at the temples, clearly thrilled about the experience.

In her caption, she mentioned that she’s gearing up to start filming her next movie. She expressed, “Feeling grateful to have visited the holy Shakti peethas of Kolhapur Mahalakshmi and Kamakhya during this special new year! Excited to kick off my next film… Thank you for all your love and blessings!”

Future tasks

Jyotika was last spotted in the Netflix series Dabba Cartel. She’s set to appear in Shaitaan 2 alongside Ajay Devgn and is also working on an untitled project for Amazon Prime Video directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Suriya, who recently starred in the underwhelming Kanguva, is gearing up for Karthik Subbaraj’s Retro, which is set to release on May 1. The film features Pooja Hegde as well, and the trailer just dropped.

At the trailer launch, Suriya shared some sweet words about Jyotika, referring to her as his ‘kannadi poo’ (glass flower). He expressed, “The film will have many layers – love, laughter, and conflict, so enjoy it. I appreciate all of you (fans and the audience). I’m here because of your support. And of course, a big thanks to my kannadi poo Jo. My journey wouldn’t be as fulfilling without her.”
