Actor Suriya, whose film teaser for Retro has generated considerable excitement among his fans, is presently collaborating with filmmaker and actorRJ Balaji on the forthcoming Tamil film provisionally named Suriya 45. The production is currently underway, featuring Trisha in the role of the female lead.

Although the production team has disclosed the cast and crew for Suriya 45, they have not revealed the identity of the antagonist. Recent reports indicate that RJ Balaji will take on the role of the adversary opposing Suriya in the film.

Suriya 45: RJ Balaji to play villain?

We had earlier reported that in the upcoming Tamil film Suriya 45, the leading actor will be playing a lawyer who will be taking up a strong case. The film is expected to be a courtroom drama for majority of portions.

Suriya 45 is both written and directed by RJ Balaji, an actor and filmmaker recognized for his roles in his own directorial projects such as Veetla Vishesham and Mookuthi Amman. It appears that RJ Balaji intends to maintain a similar approach for Suriya 45. Indeed, he will not only act in the film but will also portray a formidable antagonist opposing Suriya. The actor known for his role in Sorgavaasal is anticipated to take on the character of a lawyer representing the opposition party, engaging in a conflict with Suriya. Nevertheless, an official announcement regarding this project has yet to be made.

Suriya 45 cast and crew

Suriya 45 is being produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. The cast features notable actors such as Trisha, Yogi Babu, Indrans, Swasika, Sshivada, Natarajan Subramaniam, also known as Natty, Anagha Maaya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy, among others.

Initially, AR Rahman was set to serve as the music director; however, he has since been succeeded by Sai Abhyankkar. The cinematography will be managed by GK Vishnu, while Vikram Mor is responsible for the action choreography. The editing will be overseen by R Kalavanan, and the production design is in the hands of Arjun Venjaramoodu.

As of now, a release date for Suriya 45 has not been disclosed.
