Sunny Deol recently discussed the profound bond between actors and farmers, emphasizing that both Jaats and Jats share a unified identity grounded in diligence, humility, and steadfast commitment. Reflecting on the core values of Jaat culture, he stated, "We are all actors, whether Jaat or Jat; fundamentally, we are all farmers. I believe that every farmer in the country embodies the spirit of a Jaat. Although they may be referred to by various names in different regions, their enthusiasm and integrity are truly exceptional. They labor relentlessly, nourish the population, and never voice complaints about their struggles. When they see someone in need, they readily step in to help. Jaat and Jat are essentially the same; it is inherent in their nature."
Sunny also expressed his views on collaborating with Randeep Hooda in the film. He reminisced about how Randeep, who portrayed the antagonist, initially felt uneasy in that role. Sunny comforted him by referencing Bobby Deol, who had also taken on a villainous character. He advised Randeep, "Consider Bobby Deol; he is not portraying himself but a character." Sunny encouraged him to fully immerse himself in the role and relish the experience, saying, "Embrace the character and enjoy the journey; don’t overanalyze it."
Randeep Hooda reflected on his collaboration with Sunny Deol, highlighting the significant support he received from the seasoned actor during filming. He recalled Sunny's encouraging advice, stating, “Sunny Deol was incredibly helpful. He reminded me that in the past, Vinod Khanna also took on villainous roles, so I shouldn’t be overly concerned. I should simply enjoy the character.” Randeep, who initially found the concepts of Jaat and Jat confusing, also shared his insights on the clannism prevalent in their region. “As a Jaat, it was a delight to work with a South Indian director on a South Indian film while watching Sunny Deol portray a Jaat character on screen,” he remarked. He further commended Sunny’s composed and supportive demeanor, noting, “He is truly a kind person, always ready with advice, and his gentle presence has a calming effect.”
