For months, there have been whispers that Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja might be splitting up after almost 40 years together. Sunita has now addressed these rumors in her usual way.

Sunita Ahuja clears up the divorce rumors

Sunita chatted about the rumors regarding her marriage issues with actor Govinda during a talk with Instant Bollywood.

When questioned about the divorce gossip, Sunita cleverly replied, "You're talking way too much now, kid."

I don't care about any news that comes out. I've said it before, don't react to anything until you hear it from us. Until we talk, it's all just rumors.

In a previous chat with ABP, Sunita tackled the divorce rumors. When asked about the criticism surrounding their relationship, she remarked, 'Whether it's good or bad, I know it's good. I believe people are like dogs — they just bark.'

Insights into the issues in Govinda and Sunita Ahuja's marriage

In February, it was reported that Govinda and Sunita Ahuja were getting a divorce after 38 years of marriage. However, Govinda's lawyer, Lalit Bindal, confirmed that they are back together now. He mentioned in an interview with India Today that they even traveled to Nepal for New Year and did a puja at Pashupatinath Mandir. Everything is good between them now. It's normal for couples to have ups and downs, but they are doing great and will always stick together.

Govinda and Sunita got married in 1987, before Govinda became a Bollywood star. They kept their marriage under wraps until they had their daughter, Tina Ahuja, the next year. They also have a son, Yashvardhan, born in 1997, who is about to make his Bollywood debut in a romantic drama directed by the acclaimed Sai Rajesh, known for his work in Telugu films like Colour Photo, Hrudaya Kaleyam, and Baby.
