The debate regarding India's Got Latent intensified following Ranveer Allahbadia's appearance on the most recent episode. During the show, hosted by Samay Raina, Ranveer's remarks were considered offensive and unsuitable. In response to this controversy, comedian Sunil Pal has expressed that it is time to take 'action' against such content creators.
What Sunil said about India's Got Latent
Sunil expressed his strong disapproval of certain individuals in the comedy industry, stating, "The moment has arrived to implement stringent measures against these individuals who falsely identify as comedians, yet are, in fact, detrimental to our society. They engage in acts akin to terrorism by employing vulgar language and inappropriate content. While they purport to be content creators, they lack genuine substance and creativity. I advocate for a minimum sentence of ten years in prison for those disseminating such offensive material," as reported by Times Now.
Furthermore, he criticized various television programs for featuring Samay Raina, asserting, "I also wish to hold the producers of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati) accountable for inviting such individuals onto their platform. What message are they conveying? That the use of vulgar language and indecency will earn one an invitation to KBC and similar programs like Bigg Boss?"
