In the aftermath of the tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, the country is mourning. Through this sorrow, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has come forward with a genuine message that strikes a chord. Advocating for strength, unity, and resilience, Shetty encouraged fellow Indians not to give in to fear, but rather to unite with Kashmir. “The most tragic aspect is that the incident that occurred in our nation is being repeated endlessly before our eyes, everywhere,” Shetty remarked.

He stressed that this is a moment for solidarity, a time when every Indian needs to rise above fear and animosity, and instead embrace togetherness and hope. “This is the time for us to come together. Those who attempt to spread animosity and fear are aiming to create a specific environment. We must rise above it and remain steadfast. Let’s commit to celebrate our next holiday in Kashmir. ”

With conviction in his tone, he added: “Even if the call comes tomorrow, we need to be prepared to head to Kashmir. I’m ready—my next journey is definitely going to be Kashmir. ”

Suniel Shetty also offered his sincere condolences to the families of those who perished in the attack. “For us, serving humanity is akin to serving God. The Almighty will witness everything. At this time, we must stand united as Indians—one nation together. We must not fall into the traps of fear and hatred being set. ”

He reminded the nation that Kashmir has always been, and will perpetually be, a part of India. “We must demonstrate to them—Kashmir was ours, is ours, and will eternally remain ours. Our military, our leaders are doing their share; as citizens, this is our duty. ”

Suniel Shetty mentioned that he personally reached out to express his readiness to visit Kashmir, not merely as a tourist but also as an artist—to film, explore, and appreciate its beauty. “The Kashmiri children are not to blame. After many years, this government has provided them hope and means of livelihood. Tourism is expanding. Kashmir is stunningly beautiful—we can truly appreciate the valleys now. I’ve been there a few times, and even inaugurated the 42 km marathon there. ”

In a final, powerful message, he implored: “Let no one be afraid. Let’s demonstrate our presence in Kashmir, show the people there that we stand alongside them. Let us be there, with them, both in spirit and in person. ”
