According to sources at OTTplay, Sukumar has completed the scripting for the film's first half. He has been frequently traveling to Dubai, where he has established a base for the film's pre-production activities. In a recent interview, the director of Arya 2 mentioned that he is crafting a unique experience for Ram Charan, promising that the character will present the star in an entirely fresh light.

Sukumar has a reputation for significantly enhancing the careers of his stars, as demonstrated with Rangasthalam, which garnered substantial acclaim for Ram Charan. Mythri Movie Makers have granted Sukumar considerable creative freedom, and reports indicate that he will also co-produce the film under his Sukumar Writings banner, which is similarly involved in the production of Ram Charan's Peddi. While Sukumar is known for taking his time in filmmaking, fans are eager for him to finalize the script promptly and begin shooting at the earliest opportunity.
