Sources suggest that Sujoy Ghosh has already completed the script for the thriller. The filmmaker is once again in negotiations with the actor known for his role in Haider, with insiders characterizing the film as a quintessential Ghosh production, rich in suspense and excitement. However, Shahid Kapoor is presently occupied with Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming project, which is based on Hussain Zaidi’s Mafia Queens of Mumbai. There is speculation that Sujoy’s film may commence production in 2025.
