Anupamaa’s Vanraj Shah, played by actor Sudhanshu Pandey will no longer be a part of the show. In a surprising turn of events, Sudhanshu left fans in a frenzy after his announcement that confirmed his exit. On Wednesday night, Sudhanshu dropped the shocking news about his departure from popular daily soap Anupamaa. The announcement comes amid reports of Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna quitting Anupamaa. Soon fans expressed disappointment over his decision and some even shared that they wouldn’t be watching the show anymore.

Sudhanshu Pandey’s decision to quit

Sudhanshu Pandey, who is known for his fine acting craft, will not be a part of Anupamaa anymore. The 50-year-old recently confirmed his decision to quit the fan-favourite daily soap on his Instagram live. In the video message, the actor is seen addressing the news about his exit. He also dropped an apology for being unable to be a part of the drama. Sudhanshu's character as Vanraj Shah was one of the prominent roles in the plot.

"Aaj main thode bhaari dil se aap logon ko yeh batana chahunga ki main ab Anupamaa show ka hissa nahi hun (I would like to inform you with a heavy heart that I am no longer a part of the Anupamaa show). Not playing Vanraj Shah anymore in Anupamaa," Sudhanshu is seen telling fans in the video.

Fans react to Sudhanshu’s exit

Despite Sudhanshu’s long message expressing gratitude to the fans who showered him with immense love over the years, the reason for the exit is kept under wraps. Soon, fans swarmed the social media post with reactions. They even expressed a strong dislike for the storyline that is getting twisted day by day.

One fan wrote, “”Mr.Shah! Only entertaining character... Its so sad Samar, Pakhi, Toshu , Vanraj everyone is gone. There's nothing left now”. Another said, “The serial wouldn't be the same without you @sudanshu_pandey , you would be missed Vanraj Shah would be missed.”

Some fans also chimed in to reflect on his grey-shaded character and expressed that they will still miss Vanraj. “Your character had so many shades , you will be missed . @khyatinahak , ab serial me kalesh kon karvayega?,” another social media user asked.
