The morning of Mahalaya means Mahisasurmardini and Chandipath by Birendrakrishna Bhadra. Now, Subhasree Ganguly will play Ma Durga in Zee Bangla’s Mahalaya-special presentation. 

Durga Puja will start in about two months. Subhasree will be Debi Durga at the special Mahalaya show on Zee Bangla. The channel released the promo. The show will tell the story of Debi Mahamaya and her nine avatars. But it is not yet known who will play the other avatars. Subhasree’s looks came out. She decked up in golden jewelry and a red Banarasi saree. She played a conch and started a war. She looked like a warrior. The lion was also seen. The show’s name is Noborupe Devi Durga. 

On the other hand, Star Jalsha also released the promo of their Mahalaya show. Koel Mallick, Sandipta Sen, and Madhumita Sarkar played Debi’s three avatars. On the same night, Zee released the promo of their show. A person wrote ‘Star Jalsha and Zee Bangla behave like kids of class one.’ Another one wrote ‘What is the point of giving a teaser with the old scenes after watching Jalsha’s teaser? The shooting has ended. You could have posted a new teaser.’ 

Subhashree will be seen as female lead in Raj Chakraborty's Babli. The film that also features Abir Chatterjee will be released on August 15.
