Stree 2 is winning the audience's love and is creating history at the box office with outstanding numbers. The first film of the franchise 'Stree' has turned six today and the OG writers of the film Raj & DK took to their social media and shared a lengthy post with multiple behind-the-scenes pictures as well as the 'real story' of how the small idea of the film became such a big success. The filmmakers also shared pictures with the cast including Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

For the uninitiated, Raj & DK wrote and co-produced Stree. Following the fallout with producer Dinesh Vijan, the duo quit the franchise. Today, to celebrate the 6th anniversary of the film Raj & DK took to their Instagram account and shared the story about how the idea of the film came into existence. They also revealed that Stree happened after the back-to-back failure of their two films. Along with the unheard story, the filmmakers also shared multiple BTS pictures from the sets of the film with the cast and crew of the film.

On the other hand, Dinesh Vijan's production house Maddock Films also celebrated the film's anniversary by posting a video of the famous scenes from the film.
