Shraddha Kapoor’s highly anticipated horror comedy film, Stree 2, is all set to be released in theatres on August 15. A new song from the movie, titled Aaj Ki Raat, was released today and features the gorgeous Tamannaah Bhatia. Shraddha and Tamannaah were both present at the song launch event in Mumbai and we got to witness a cute fangirl moment. Both divas heaped praise on each other and there was also an unexpected, sweet gesture.

Stree 2 is among the most eagerly awaited movies of 2024. An intriguing trailer was released last week that features Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi. The team released the first song from the movie today, which features Tamannaah’s sizzling dance moves. Titled Aaj Ki Raat, the upbeat song will keep you grooving with the mesmerising moves of Tamannaah.

At the song launch event, Shraddha and Tamannaah were captured fangirling over each other. When Tamannaah offered a rose to the paparazzi, Shraddha asked Tamannaah if she could have it. The duo also shared a warm hug and posed candidly for the paps. Here’s a glimpse of the sweet gesture.

While Shraddha called Tamannaah an amazing actress with unmatched dance skills that set the stage on fire, the latter didn’t shy away from showering heaps of praise on Shraddha, calling herself Shraddha's fan.

Speaking about her on-screen collaboration with Tamannaah, Shraddha said, “You are a brilliant actor. You're so gorgeous; you perform well; you dance incredibly well." The Aashique 2 actor also drew a comparison between Hema Malini and Tamannaah for her spellbinding moves and charm.

Stree 2 release

Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 is the sequel to Stree. It brings back Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. The plot revolves around the haunting tale of Sarkate ka Atank, or the headless monster, in Chanderi town. A team of quirky people battles this evil entity. Stree 2 will be released in theatres on August 15.
