Shraddha Kapoor is currently on cloud nine with the massive box office success of Stree 2, the sequel to the 2018 horror comedy, Stree. Starring Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee, the sequel has unexpectedly achieved more success than the original film. According to reports, Stree 2 has earned over Rs 415 crore, making it the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024 till now.

Shraddha Kapoor to become Akshay Kumar's neighbour

Amid the excitement over Stree 2's success, we got another striking news that Shraddha Kapoor will be soon shifting to a new apartment, a sea-facing building in Juhu, which is currently rented by Hrithik Roshan.

Akshay Kumar, who made an outstanding cameo in Stree 2 as the descendant of Sarkata, also lives in the same building, a luxurious duplex apartment. Previously it was reported that Varun Dhawan will be moving to that particular apartment with his wife and his newborn baby. However, it seems like the deal is not happening.

The Khiladi of Bollywood made a gripping cameo appearance in Stree 2. His character has been introduced as a patient in a mental hospital in Bhopal. While initially it seemed like a possibly delusional individual, the twist in the narrative came when Kumar’s nameless character revealed a surprising connection to the main antagonist, Sarkata.

Akshay’s character claimed to be the next bloodline of Sarkata. This revelation added an expected layer of complexity to the story, hinting at a possible conflict or a hidden motive. The post-credits scenes also suggested that there is much more to this character which could be revealed in the next chapters of the Stree film series.

Is there Stree 3?

Director Amar Kaushik has already said that the third instalment of the Stree franchise is in the works. There have been whispers about a potential single film centered solely on Shraddha Kapoor's character.

Rumours also say that Shraddha Kapoor is in talks to have an exciting role in Krrish 4 and might be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan's superhero character. While these are just speculations, the possibility of the 37-year-old actress' joining the Krrish universe has certainly piqued the interest of the fans.
