Shraddha Kapoor’s Bollywood struggle

B-town diva Shraddha Kapoor has earned audiences’ love and praise with her impeccable acting craft and humble personality. Despite being a star kid as the daughter of veteran actor Shakti Kapoor, Shraddha carved a niche for herself in the industry as she delivered impressive performances over the years. However, it was not a cakewalk for her. Recently, the 37-year-old revealed that her first two films underperformed at the box office and how it made it harder for her career.

Shraddha made her acting debut with the drama film 'Teen Patti' in 2010, followed by 'Luv Ka The End' next year. However, both films plunged to failure, proving to be an obstacle for the budding star's career.

In a recent interview, Shraddha Kapoor opened up about her box office failures. There was even a time when she struggled to get movies as no one wanted to work with her until her breakthrough in Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2. The musical romance changed the dynamics of Shraddha’s career as it launched her as a promising star in the industry.

"I had to give a lot of auditions as no one wanted to work with me. It is very difficult to get your next film, especially when you carry the baggage of flop films at the start of your career," Shraddha told Sushant Sinha.
