Vicky Kaushal has left everyone surprised with his never-seen-before avatar for his film Chhaava. The actor will be seen playing the role of Maratha Emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj (son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj) in the Laxman Utekar directorial. The historical drama's teaser dropped today on YouTube and fans haven't stopped lauding Vicky's transformation. The Chhaava teaser has got a massive response, with Shraddha Kapoor also being excited to watch the movie.

Shraddha Kapoor, basking in the glory of Stree 2's success, reposted the Chhaava teaser on her Instagram story. The actress seemed impressed by the Vicky Kaushal-starrer glimpse. While sharing the teaser, Shraddha expressed excitement to watch Chhaava. The Stree 2 star further mentioned, "Ab release ke liye 6 December tak wait karvaoge (sic)." Take a look at her story below:
Helmed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava will hit the silver screen on December 6, 2024. Vicky dropped the teaser of his upcoming film with a caption that read, "Protector of Swarajya. Defender of Dharma. Chhaava - An epic saga of a courageous warrior! Teaser out now (sic)."
Chhaava will also feature Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale while Akshaye Khanna plays Aurangzeb. Apart from them, the film's star cast includes Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana and Neil Bhoopalam.
Shraddha Kapoor enjoys Stree 2's success
Meanwhile, Shraddha is riding high on the success of her latest film, Stree 2. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the horror-comedy marked Kapoor's reunion with Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana. The movie is close to earning Rs 300 crore (gross) at the worldwide box office. The global box office collection of Stree is Rs 283 crore (gross).
Stree 2 hit the silver screen on August 15 while the paid previews commenced on August 14. It clashed with Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein in a three-way clash at the box office.
