Actress Isha Malviya, recognized for her ascent to fame through Bigg Boss 17 and the popular TV show Udaariyaan, has taken an exhilarating step in her career with her Marathi music debut. Named Shanky, the song showcases Isha alongside singer-composer Sanju Rathod in a lively, Afrobeat-inspired Marathi pop track. Released to significant buzz, Shanky is already building traction across streaming platforms and social media.

The song, a fun and catchy love anthem, combines Marathi lyrical charm with a global musical feel. Sanju Rathod, who has sung, written, and composed the track, injects a youthful energy that perfectly matches Isha’s screen charisma. Directed by Himanshu Dhar, the music video highlights the duo’s chemistry, local flair, and a celebration of traditional culture with a contemporary twist.

Reflecting on her entry into Marathi music and her partnership with Sanju, Isha remarked, “My experience was wonderful, and I have been a girl who adores Marathi culture, so I have always wished to immerse myself in Marathi culture; this is my first ever Marathi song with Sanju, and I have made my Marathi debut alongside such a talented artist, and I couldn’t be happier. I believe it’s fate—Sanju and I have been crossing paths for a long time, and socially we would often meet or see one another, and we both knew we wanted to collaborate, and I think it was just the perfect time for us to unite for the Shanky song. ”

When inquired about how she’s coping with her escalating fame, Isha answered with genuine candor: “I have made several mistakes in my life, and I am not flawless, and believe me, I understand that anything can go awry in this life at any moment, and if you’re trending currently and have achieved a good position in your career, one misstep can dismantle it all; I am confident of this, even my family has told me, the day pride infiltrates your demeanor, you won’t last long in your career, you might as well book a ticket and head home. Thus, I have a very straightforward principle: I don’t think that I have accomplished everything; I still have a lot to learn, a lot to attain in life, and this is my mindset. ” With humility and ambition driving her path, Isha Malviya is not solely experimenting with genres and languages—she’s establishing a lasting presence in the entertainment industry.
