Cole in 2018, this renowned music festival is set to return to North Carolina for its fifth and concluding edition in April. The 40-year-old artist from Fayetteville will headline the event alongside other prominent hip-hop figures such as Lil Wayne and 21 Savage. What is the Dreamville Festival? Where will it take place this year?

Taking place every spring in Raleigh, the Dreamville Festival is described as “an outdoor weekend music celebration curated by internationally-renowned hip-hop artist J. Cole and his Dreamville team.” This festival is recognized as “a Black-owned music festival” that “continues to prioritize community, diversity, and inclusivity throughout the onsite fan experience each spring,” as stated on the festival's official website.

The final edition of Dreamville Fest is scheduled for Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Saturday, April 5, and Sunday, April 6. Adam Roy, co-founder and president of the festival, expressed in a statement to Billboard: “Our team eagerly anticipates welcoming fans from around the globe to Dreamville Festival this spring as we celebrate our fifth anniversary.” He added, “The first weekend in April has become one of our team’s most cherished times of the year, serving as an annual reunion for North Carolina.”
