Sreshta Iyer, a skilled dancer and choreographer, and sister of cricketer Shreyas Iyer, recently shared her thoughts on performing an item number in the film Sarkari Bachcha. Known for her stunning dance skills, she opened up about her journey, dreams, and passion for item numbers.

When asked why she decided to join Sarkari Bachcha, Sreshta said, "I saw it as a fantastic opportunity, so I thought, why not? I was initially brought on as a choreographer, but I ended up dancing in it. The whole experience was incredible. I really love item numbers."

She also mentioned her admiration for famous Bollywood actresses who shine in item numbers. "Kareena Kapoor’s 'Halkat Jawani' is my all-time favorite. Whenever I hear songs like that, it brings back my love for dance. Actresses like Katrina Kaif, Nora Fatehi, and Malaika Arora are so talented. They really nail these performances, and it’s their presence that draws people to the movies."

She talked about some legendary choreographers she dreams of collaborating with: "There are so many amazing choreographers out there. First on my list is Bosco sir, since he’s created so many iconic performances. Saroj Khan ma'am was a true legend, and I always wished I could work with her, but unfortunately, that won’t happen. Still, I’d be thrilled to team up with Vaibhavi Merchant and Ganesh Acharya in the future."

When it comes to her future in the industry, she shared: "I’m not really into acting, but if a great opportunity comes my way, I wouldn’t say no. My main focus, though, is to break into the South Indian film scene. I really want to do an item number there, especially in Tollywood."

Sreshtha’s love for dance and her dreams of making a name for herself in Tollywood shine through as she keeps making strides in the entertainment world.
