Actors Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela are presently engaged in the filming of an unnamed project under the direction of Anurag Basu. Recently, Sreeleela encountered a distressing situation when she was unexpectedly drawn into a crowd, a moment that went unnoticed by Kartik. Her team had to intervene to help her escape from being pulled further into the mass of people.

Sreeleela forcibly pulled by fan

On Sunday, a video shared by a paparazzo's Instagram account showed Sreeleela and Kartik making their way through a crowd with their team. Sreeleela, who was slightly behind Kartik, was unexpectedly swept into the crowd by an eager fan, while Kartik continued walking, unaware of what was happening.

Fortunately, her team quickly intervened and successfully pulled her back before she could be pulled further into the throng. Although she appeared shaken, Sreeleela managed to keep her composure and smiled while speaking with her team. Kartik turned to look at the commotion once she was safely returned, but seemed unaware of the incident. The exact time and location of the video recording were not revealed.

As the video circulated on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), concerns for her safety emerged among fans. One user on X expressed their dismay, stating, “Manhandling actresses in public places must come to an end #Sreeleela.” Another commented, “This is genuinely frightening... how unsafe it is for anyone.”

A user on X highlighted the alarming nature of the incident, noting, “It’s disturbing to see how Sreeleela was pulled; the bouncers should have ensured her safety. Even ordinary women struggle in such crowded environments, and she is a well-known actress.”

One individual criticized Kartik for his inaction, remarking, “The superstar walking ahead didn’t intervene.” Another fan suggested that if Balakrishna, her co-star from Bhagavanth Kesari, had been present, he would have confronted the fan, saying, “If Balayya were there, he would have slapped the fan.”

Kartik and Sreeleela are currently filming their upcoming movie in Gangtok and Darjeeling, which is set to be released in theaters this Diwali.
