Prabhas is engaged in several film projects at the same time. He is presently involved in four different productions, which have generated considerable excitement among his fans. Nevertheless, the postponements in both filming and release schedules have caused some frustration among them.

Shooting of Prabhas' next to get delayed

One of the films in question is Spirit, helmed by the renowned Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who is celebrated for his works Arjun Reddy and Animal. Originally, Spirit was set to commence filming in January 2025; however, recent updates indicate that the start date has been postponed to June 2025. 

This postponement is largely attributed to an injury sustained by Prabhas while filming Fauji. He has since travelled to Europe for medical treatment, which has resulted in considerable delays in the production timelines of his other projects.

Prabha's injury scare disrupted his film releases

Prabhas is currently engaged in the production of The Raja Saab with Maruthi, which is approaching its final stages, in addition to his work on Spirit. Sandeep Reddy Vanga intends to initiate the filming of Spirit only after Prabhas concludes his existing commitments, allowing him to allocate significant time to the cop drama.

To adopt a new appearance for Spirit, Prabhas must first finish The Raja Saab and Fauji before he can fully embrace the role. Furthermore, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, helmed by Nag Ashwin, is also pending Prabhas' availability.

The multitude of projects in progress has led to scheduling conflicts, resulting in some disarray. Among these, Spirit appears to be the most impacted, and indications suggest that its release may be postponed from 2025 to 2026.

Prabhas has traditionally concentrated on a single project at a time; however, he currently faces the challenge of balancing several commitments. It will be interesting to observe how he navigates his schedule in the upcoming months. Further updates regarding his forthcoming films will be provided.
