Actors Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar are actively promoting their forthcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi. As part of their promotional activities, they appeared on the television show India's Best Dancer vs Super Dancer, hosted by Arjun's former girlfriend, Malaika Arora. During the episode, as Malaika showcased her dance moves to her most popular tracks, Arjun expressed that her performance left him utterly amazed.

In response to Malaika Arora’s dance performance, Arjun, who is one of the guests on the show, humorously remarked, “Meri bolti band ho chuki hai saalo se, mai abhi bhi chup rehna chahta hu,” which translates to him preferring to remain silent. This comment elicited laughter from Malaika. He further stated, “However, I must say that I had the opportunity to enjoy all my favourite songs, which reflect the remarkable career and life she has led.”
Arjun also commended Malaika for her impressive career, stating, “The type of music and performances she has delivered, along with the opportunity to honour someone who continues to excel in her field, is truly commendable. Congratulations, Malaika. You are well aware of my admiration for these songs. It was a delight to witness you being celebrated in this manner.”

Malaika responded to Arjun's compliment with a smile and expressed her gratitude. Their playful exchange continued when she inquired Haarsh Limbachiyaa about his score, to which he mentioned he had two points. Remo commented, "She is comparing as if she is going to win the trophy," to which Arjun retorted, "No one understands their competition better than I do." When Haarsh prompted Malaika for a reply, she simply stated, "Nothing, move forward."
For those unfamiliar, Malaika and Arjun began their relationship in 2018 and frequently posted romantic photos from their trips together. During the promotional events for Singham Again in 2024, while Arjun was addressing the audience, they chanted Malaika's name repeatedly. With a smile, Arjun replied, "No, I'm single now. Relax."
His forthcoming film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi, featuring Rakul Preet Singh, is set to premiere in theatres on February 21.
