Their holiday plans came to light shortly after the couple celebrated the “Love Story” singer’s 35th birthday on Friday evening. The Kansas City Chiefs player went above and beyond to make the occasion special for his partner, showering her with numerous gifts, even in the face of significant financial and emotional challenges stemming from the burglary incident at his Kansas residence in October.

Taylor Swift has finally earned a well-deserved break following her extensive and record-breaking era tour across the globe. According to The US Sun, both the Chief tight end and his teammate Patrick Mahomes fell victim to a burglary in early October, which the NFL has characterized as a “transnational crime ring.” Consequently, Travis Kelce suffered losses exceeding $100,000 in jewellery, $20,000 in cash, and designer clothing, among other items. Notably, his nostalgia-laden first Super Bowl jersey was also stolen from his $6 million residence in Kansas City. As per the latest information reported by ABC News on November 22, some of the football player's belongings have been recovered, including his stolen watch.

Fortunately, none of Taylor's possessions, if any were present at the Leawood estate, were taken during the incident. A well-informed source for The US Sun has indicated that Swift is expected to return to her partner's Kansas home for the upcoming Christmas season. While Travis is still hoping to be reunited with his beloved memorabilia, the presence of the “Shake It Off” artist is likely to provide comfort to his heart. As the Chiefs star approaches the peak of the NFL season, he has reportedly enhanced the security measures at his home.

An insider revealed that Swift "will be travelling to Kansas City and will be residing there for a period over the next few weeks to be with Travis and provide him with love and support." The source added, "She is eager to experience another potential championship season for the Chiefs." Meanwhile, Kelce and his team are preparing for a significant Christmas Day match against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Conversely, Taylor is coming to terms with the conclusion of her cherished world tour. Having wrapped up that chapter on a high note, "she is looking forward to taking a break from the limelight. She desires to embrace a simpler lifestyle for a while." Similar to Thanksgiving, both the Kelce and Swift families are anticipated to gather for a large family reunion.

Among the two, Travis "currently has the most demanding schedule," the insider noted. Regarding Taylor, they remarked, "She is pleased that they will have the opportunity to spend time together, enjoying nice dinners, relaxing, and baking. Christmas will be a memorable holiday for both of them."
