Soumitrisha Kundu posted several photos and videos from Darjeeling on social media. What was the reason for her trip – work or tour? 

The actress posted a video on social media in front of the famous Darjeeling restaurant Glenarys. She said ‘It is 10:28 PM. And wrap-up. All of us are roaming in Darjeeling.’ 

She showed the empty Mall and the closed shops. The other team members were also seen in the background. She also said ‘A completely dark road. I always like adventure. Hence I am loving to walk in the empty streets.’ She shared some more photos from her hotel where she was seen enjoying the hilly beauty at a 17-degree temperature in the morning. 

Soumitrisha started her journey in television with a side role in the serial Joy Kali Kalkattawali. She was also in serials like Gopal Bhar and Kone Bou.- However, she became a household name with Zee Bangla’s serial Mithai. The serial went on for two and a half years and Soumitrisha reached the peak of popularity. 

As soon as Mithai ended, Soumitrisha got the offer to work in Pradhan opposite Dev. She has worked on her second film also. She will be seen in the film on 10th June. The film’s shooting has been done. Hence it is not clear why Soumitrisha went to Darjeeling. 

Soumitrisha said in several interviews that she did not wish to return to television right now. She aimed for films and series for the time being. But she was trolled for her statement and was tagged as a snob. However, she did not pay any attention to the trolls and concentrated on work.
