While promoting his new movie Fateh in Gujarat, Sonu Sood shared with ANI, “I think the issue is sorted out now. You know what they say, ‘all's well that ends well’. I want to give him my congratulations. I’ve worked with him in the past, and I totally get that being an actor means dealing with highs and lows along the way.”
After being released on Saturday morning, Allu Arjun spoke to the media, expressing, "I really appreciate all the love and support. A big thank you to my fans. There’s nothing to worry about; I’m doing well. I’m a law-abiding citizen and will fully cooperate. I also want to extend my condolences to the family. It was a tragic incident, and we truly regret what happened." Later, during a press conference at his home in Jubilee Hills, the actor emphasized that he wasn’t at fault for the incident at Sandhya Theatre, even though he felt sorry about it.
What led to Allu Arjun's arrest?
On December 4, Allu Arjun found himself in hot water after an incident at the premiere of his new film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, at Sandhya Theatre. A massive crowd had gathered to see him, and things took a turn for the worse when he decided to wave to fans from the sunroof of his car.
Authorities say this gesture added to the chaos, leading to a tragic outcome where a woman named Revathi lost her life, and her son was seriously injured and is currently on a ventilator.
The police pointed fingers at the actor's security team, claiming they were supposed to manage the crowd and ensure a safe passage for his vehicle. They also mentioned that Allu Arjun's team ignored warnings about the dangers of the large gathering and didn’t act quickly enough to control the situation.
