South cinema star and philanthropist, Sonu Sood warmly welcomed Lord Ganesha this Ganesh Chaturthi to his house. This year Ganesha at Sonu’s house was themed around being eco-friendly and incorporating earthy flavour. Sony distributed sweets and prasad among the media and paparazzi on the day of Chaturthi.

For the farewell of Ganesha on 5^th day, Sonu chose an eco-friendly way of Visarjan. The entire event of Ganesh Visarjan was performed by Sonu himself surrounded by his family at his home only. The actor Sonu Sood bid a green farewell to Lord Ganesha as he performs Ganpati Visarjan yesterday on the 5^th day after Ganesh idol homecoming.
As the festival ended with 5 day celebration, the actor conducted a unique puja, seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Sonu prayed to the deity in a heartfelt ceremony surrounded by his family and friends.

The event showed Sonu’s unquestionable commitment towards environmental conservation. His sweet action during the festival emphasizes his dedication to advocating for eco-friendly practices.

Sonu Sood's upcoming projects

On the work front, Sonu Sood is looking forward to the release of ‘Fateh’. In the cybercrime actioner, Naseeruddin Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez also play pivotal roles along with Sood. The film is slated to land in theatres on January 10, 2025.
