Sonu Sood Exposes Bodyguard Tactics: 'Hato Hato' Shouts at Airports

Actors frequently travel with several bodyguards who ensure their safety at airports and public gatherings. Numerous videos have emerged online showing bodyguards forcibly moving fans aside. Recently, in an interview with Humans of Bombay, Sonu Sood discussed the training these bodyguards undergo to direct public attention towards the actor.
Sonu Sood states that bodyguards are trained to draw attention to the actor at the airport
Sonu Sood expressed his views on the deliberate attention-seeking behaviour exhibited by certain actors in public settings. He noted, "Bodyguards and entourages are frequently trained to generate a spectacle, particularly in locations such as airports. They create commotion and evoke curiosity, causing even those who are otherwise occupied to turn and see who is arriving. This is their method of garnering attention. An actor could easily navigate through a crowd alone, with only a few fans requesting photographs. However, by instigating chaos, they ensure that they are noticed."
Reflecting on a personal experience, Sonu Sood recounted, "I was at the gym when a friend arrived to pick me up. A car halted nearby, and a bodyguard emerged, feigning the presence of a large crowd. He began shouting, ‘Step back,’ despite the absence of anyone around. The actor then followed suit and entered the building amidst this fabricated scene. The reality is that if one simply walks through a crowd, most individuals will not pay much attention. I also have bodyguards, but I consistently instruct them to refrain from pushing anyone. Even when moving in a group, I advise them to avoid any form of pushing. Generally, the public behaves well and poses no threat. However, many people question why they do not take action, leading to the use of such tactics to engage the public. This is the truth."
Sonu Sood's forthcoming film

The film features prominent actors such as Jacqueline Fernandez, Vijay Raaz, Naseeruddin Shah, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in significant roles. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on January 10.
