While the actor is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, he is already making headlines for his next. The recent development now states that one of his most-loved films, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is finally going to get a sequel after 6 years.

Kartik Aaryan to headline Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety Sequel?

After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Kartik Aaryan is already packed with sequels including - Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 and Aashiqui 3, and now he is also gearing up for a sequel to his 2018 romcom, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

A source close to the development informed PeepingMoon that Kartik Aaryan and Luv Ranjan have initiated talks for the sequel to the hit movie - Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. They are planning to start filming in the second half of 2025. "They met last Tuesday at Luv Films' office, where Ranjan pitched the story idea, which Kartik loved and quickly approved, setting the project into motion," the source said.

The report further added that Luv is currently writing the screenplay and the project will be locked once the final draft of the film is ready. It is not yet known if the narrative of the film will be a continuation of the first film or if it will be a brand new story. "The director intends to provide audiences with an equally entertaining film that is packed with chartbuster songs, witty dialogues, and varied emotions of love and friendship,” the report stated.

The sequel of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety will mark their fifth collaboration after the Pyaar Ka Punchnana movie series, Akaash Vaani, and Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety. If reports are to be believed, Kartik Aaryan will commence filming for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 3 after completing the shooting for Pati, Patni Aur Woh 2, directed by Mudassar Aziz and Aashiqui 3, directed by Anurag Basu.
