Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had an intimate registry marriage on June 23 in the attendance of their close friends and family members. On the same day, they hosted a grand wedding reception which was graced by several Bollywood celebrities. The couple recently had a wonderful time in New York and they gave a peek into their 'best trip ever' on their social media accounts.

On August 31, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal dropped a video on their Instagram handle as they gave a peek into their vacation in New York City. In the clip, the couple can be seen enjoying their hearts out and they were accompanied by sSona’s sister-in-law Sanam Ratansi and her daughter. From boat riding, and zoo visits to hopping on the streets, they had it all.

Sonakshi Sinha on marriage with Zaheer Iqbal
Speaking to ETimes, Sonakshi Sinha said that she wished the wedding with Zaheer could happen sooner but added 'better late than never.'
She felt extremely happy for the marriage as she had been waiting for a long time."It feels like being home, finally. I enjoy spending time with Zaheer and we are truly best friends. So, I love being at work, being my own person and running back home and going to him. I wish it had happen soon but better late than never," Sonakshi added.

Sonakshi was recently seen in Kakuda. It was released on July 11. The film directed by Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar also starred Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem in the key roles.
