Newly married couple Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been enjoying a vacation in Australia for the last few weeks. Their latest destination is Canberra, where the two actors are residing in a glass house that is encircled by lions.

Sonakshi, Zaheer's roaring alarm

On Monday morning, Sonakshi and Zaheer shared a video on their Instagram Stories, showcasing a moment in their bed within a glass house. A magnificent lion was visible on the other side of a glass wall, roaring at them. In the footage recorded by Zaheer, Sonakshi was also seen capturing the lion's roar on her smartphone. They captioned the post, “Today's alarm clock!!!!” and noted the time as 6 am.

On Sunday, the couple posted a video featuring a lion and lioness engaging in playful antics adjacent to their glass house. In the caption, they remarked, “With these 2,” while incorporating Billy Eichner's well-known song, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, from Jon Favreau's 2019 Disney film, The Lion King, as the accompanying music. Additionally, they shared an image of themselves relaxing inside the glass house, with the lions lounging just outside. The accompanying caption read: “4 cool cats hanging (heart eyes emoji).” They also included another photograph of themselves posing alongside a sleeping leopard.

Sonakshi and Zaheer's Australia vacation

Sonakshi and Zaheer commenced their vacation in Australia earlier this month. Their adventure began with scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef. They celebrated Christmas on Queens Island, engaging in activities such as biking, paddle boarding, and diving. Following this, they enjoyed sunbathing at Lizard Island, experienced bungee jumping in an Australian rainforest, and attended a cricket match in Melbourne.

On Sunday, Zaheer posted a humorous video featuring himself driving a car while Sonakshi peacefully slept beside him. In the selfie video, Zaheer remarks, “Road tripping with my wife.” He then lets out a loud scream, which jolts Sonakshi awake, much to his delight. He captioned the Reel, “Jabse isse mili hu meri neend udd gayi hai (My sleep has gone for a toss ever since I met her) (angry and tongue out emojis).”

On the work front, Sonakshi will be next seen in Nikita Roy and the Book of Darkness.
