Former actress Somy Ali recently hit headlines as she expressed her wish to have a chat with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Somy, who reportedly dated Salman Khan, reached out to the gangster through social media. In the latest interview with Mid-Day, Ali revealed what made her wish to connect with the gangster who has issued death threats to her rumoured ex-boyfriend Salman. The former actress stated her 'anti-violence' as the core reason.

Somy Ali told the tabloid that she would never want Salman Khan 'hurt, let alone be murdered'. The former actress further recalled she last spoke to Salman in 2012, however, she doesn't want to see his face again. "We have both moved on. I can’t stand the man, but I don’t want him murdered," said Somy.

The former actress further shared her thoughts on Salim Khan stating that his son Salman would never hurt an animal. Khan was accused of hunting a deer which is deemed as God by the Bishnoi community. "I have far too much respect for Salim uncle and Salma aunty," stated Ali. She added that Khan's parents and his brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan were the most 'decent people' in the superstar's household.

"He didn’t know the deer was deemed as God by the Bishnoi tribe. I can say this because this was talked about in the [Khan] household many times. If Salman knew this fact, he wouldn’t have even thought of shooting the deer," said Somy. The former actress added that as much as Salman 'enjoys hunting', he loves animals and children.

For those who are unaware, Somy quit Bollywood and moved back to the United States after her rumoured break-up with Salman.
