Actress Sohini Sarkar and musician Shovan Ganguly tied the knot on Monday. OTTplay was the first to report on the date, venue, and other details. Now, the photos are out. 

They got married in the evening by a woman's marriage register Purnima Das. Sohini chose a traditional Bengali bridal attire. She picked a clotted maroon Banarasi sari and teamed it up with a beige blouse. With gold jhumka, neckpiece, and bangles, she looked ethereal. Along with the conventional ornaments, she also picked her signature septum nose ring in gold. Besides, she added a tiara and shankha-pola. Shovan wore a kurta with an intricate needlework neckline. He teamed it up with a maroon silk dhoti with embroidered border. Both wore floral accessories – mala and gajra.  

Sohini and Shovan started dating after they took part in a cultural event hosted by Jisshu U Sengupta last year. Earlier, the Sampurna actress ended her long-term relationship with actor Ranojoy Bishnu. In fact, Shovan’s affair with actress Swastika Dutta also ended by then. The musician and Sohini travelled together to Scandinavian countries and posted photos from there. While they talked about their relationship, they maintained secrecy about their marriage. In fact, both of them were unavailable to take calls made by the media.
