According to reports, the shooting of the film Bahurup, starring Soham Chakraborty and Idhika Paul, has stopped midway. The report said that problems happened regarding the due remuneration. The shooting started a few months back. It took place in North Bengal and Kolkata.
The makers of the film announced that Soham will be discovered in a new avatar in this film. He will have seven different looks there. The film’s director Akash Malakar told Anandabazar Online that there was a problem regarding remuneration. However, he did not agree with the claim that the shooting had stopped. The director said, “There was a problem because the remuneration was due. The producers then resolved it. Rumors about the shooting being stopped are not true.”
He further added that three more days of shooting were due. “It was supposed to have ended, but got delayed due to rain,” Akash said, adding that if he got time from the cast and crew, he would finish the shooting by this month.
Kamaleswar Mukherjee, Loknath Dey, and Bharat Kaul play other roles in the film. It might get released at the end of this year.
